Frances Marie Ashcraft
Frances Marie Ashcraft
passed away unexpected-
ly Sunday, February 9,
2020. Frances was a
wonderful wife and moth-
er filled with compassion
and love. She is going to
be deeply missed by her
family.
She is survived by her
husband, Albert Edwin
“Ed” Ashcraft, her son
John Ashcraft and his
wife, Becky Ashcraft. Her
two grandsons who used
to make her eyes sparkle
when she would see
them, Dr. John Tyler Ash-
craft, and Stephen (Jordie)
Ashcraft.
She is preceded in
death by her youngest
son, Ronnie Lee Ashcraft.
Mother didn’t accomplish
great things in her life,
she was a simple woman
content to live her life
modestly with God as her
guide in life. Some people
are born to do great
things, some are born to
do little things filled with
great love; that was my
mother.
Frances was a long-term
member of the First Bap-
tist Church of Sanger.
Frances had a truly beau-
tiful soul and she loved to
sing in the choir when she
was young. I am sure she
has been accepted into
Heaven’s choir and is
practicing for Sunday ser-
vice
The Lord Is My
Shepherd I shall not
want. He maketh me to lie
down in green pastures he
leadeth me beside the still
waters. He restoreth my
soul: He leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for
his name’s sake. Yea,
though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil:
For thou art with me; thy
rod and thy staff they
comfort me. Thou
preparest a table before
me in the presence of
mine enemies: Thou
anointest my head with
oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mer-
cy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will
dwell in the house of the
Lord forever. Psalm23
Our hearts are filled
with sorrow, but we take
comfort knowing we shall
see her again as a young,
beautiful, vibrant spirit as
we each at our due time
enter the gates of Heaven.
We love you Wife, Moth-
er, Grandmother and we
will see you again.
