Kelly Neil Mason, son

of William C. and Myra

M. (Schultz) Mason, was

born September 15, 1955

at Harvey. He was raised

at rural Fessenden and re-

ceived his elementary and

high school education at

Fessenden Public School.

He received his junior

high education in Tulsa,

OK.

On June 26, 1976, Kelly

was united in marriage to

Lori Liebelt in Harvey.

They made their home

north of Fessenden where

Kelly farmed and also

worked construction for a

time.

Kelly enjoyed life on

the farm, whether he was

working the fields in his

John Deere 9400T, tend-

ing to his yard and gar-

den, or tinkering in his

shop on his cars or wood-

working. He used his

woodworking talent to

create individual desks for

each of his grandchildren.

Kelly loved spending time

with family. He and his

friend Tim Neumiller,

along with their sons Matt

and Bob, built cars which

they enjoyed entering in

drag racing competition

for a number of years. Re-

cently, he and his

daughter Sarah were

working on a woodwork-

ing project together and

he was also determined to

teach her the skill of

welding. Kelly will be

greatly missed by his fam-

ily.

Kelly is survived by:

his wife of 43 years, Lori;

his son, Matt (special

friend Kimberly) Mason of

rural Fessenden; his

daughter, Sarah (Allen)

Heilman of rural Fessen-

den; 6 grandchildren,

Gavin, Owen, Jadyn &

Fiona Mason and Alex &

Ebony Heilman; and his

brother, Dale (Connie)

Mason of Fessenden.

He was preceded in

death by: his parents,

William & Myra Mason,

and his brother, Rex.

The Mason family ex-

tends their sincere grati-

tude to the staff at Pros-

pera Community Care

Center for the loving care

given to Kelly while a

resident there.

Funeral: Friday, Janu-

ary 24, 2020 at 10:30 A.M.

at Concordia Lutheran

Church of rural Fessen-

den.

Burial: Hillside

Cemetery in Fessenden.
