passed away at Sanford

Medical Center, Bismarck,

Wednesday, August 21,

2019 from natural causes.

A memorial service

will be held at Bismarck

Funeral Home, Bismarck,

on Tuesday, August 27,

2019 at 11:00 a.m. with

Rev. Glen Stevens officiat-ing.

Jason was born April 3,

1977 at Rugby, ND to

Mike and Kathy O’Keeffe.

He graduated from

Mandan High School in

1996. He attended

Northwest Technical Col-

lege, Moorhead, MN for

1 1/2 years studying chef

training. He worked as a

cook at several restaurants

including Denny’s and

Famous Dave’s. In 2010

he started working at

Dan’s Supermarket and

worked there until his

death.

Jason will be remem-

bered as a passionate fa-

ther to his son, Michael,

who was Jason’s main

focus in life. Jason en-

joyed cooking, especially

grilling. He also enjoyed

hunting, especially deer

hunting.

Jason is survived by:

his son Michael Jason (6

years old); his parents

Mike and Kathy O’Keeffe,

Bismarck; brother, Tim

O’Keeffe, Fargo, ND;

nephews Sam and John

O’Keeffe; his former wife,

Caroline; and numerous

aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was preceded in

death by: his

grandparents, Cornelius

and Julitta O’Keeffe and

Art and Vivian O’Connell;

two uncles; and aunt and

a cousin.
