Feb. 27, 1944-June 9, 2019

Dean J. Durick, of

Bowbells, ND, passed

away on Sunday, June 9,

2019 following a nearly

ten year battle with brain

cancer. He was 75.

born on February 27,

1944, to James and Marie

(Powell) Durick in Crosby,

ND. He attended school

through the eighth grade

at St. Agnes Catholic

School in Kenmare then

graduated from Bowbells

High School in 1962.

On June 6, 1962, Dean

enlisted in the United

States Army. He proudly

served his country, receiv-ing the Good Conduct

home on the Durick farm-

stead, where they raised

their children, Bradley

farming. He was a driven

man and wanted every-

and clean. Many did not

realize it but he was a

master mechanic and

could fix or build any-

thing if he wanted to. He

enjoyed working on com-

puters and for many years

flying his 150 Cessna

around the area.

Dean was one who nev-
