Claudine Brown
Oct. 2, 1941-June 13, 2019
Claudine Mae Brown,
77, Minot, passed peace-
fully Thursday, June 13,
2019 in a Velva Nursing
Care Center.
Claudine was born on
October 2, 1941 in
Bismarck, North Dakota
the daughter of Aldus and
Ester Mae (Thorton) Jen-
sen. She was raised on a
farm south of Sterling, ND
and was educated in
Bismarck, graduating from
Bismarck High School in
1959.
She was once married
to Richard Brown. This
union was blessed with
seven children. In fact,
she had a few favorites if
we are being honest.
Those on that exclusive
list in no particular order
were Claudia, Bennie,
Danny, Charlene, Vicki,
Annette and Eugene.
Claudine was employed
with Northland Bus Com-
pany in Minot for over 35
years, where she enjoyed
driving bus for the Host-
fest Scandinavian Festival
each year. She retired in
2006.
Claudine had a faith
filled heart. She attended
many bible studies hosted
by Pastor Dan Chell, loved
to sing and listen to gos-
pel music. In addition to
her duties as the best
mother on earth, Claudine
also enjoyed crocheting,
decorating cakes, dancing,
sewing and caring for her
pet dogs. Her infectious
smile was known to light
up a room and brighten
your day. She often in-
cluded ‘I Love You’ in
conversations because she
felt everyone needed to be
told those precious words.
Claudine will be deeply
missed by all who shared
in her precious life; most-
ly by her seven blessings
that called her Mom,
Momma, Mommy and by
her everlasting signature,
Mon.
Her loving family in-
cludes: children: Clau-
dia Paulson, Williston,
ND, Bennie (Carla)
Brown, Minot, Danny
(Darlene) Brown, Minot,

Annette (Terry) Fix, Minot
and Eugene Brown,
Minot; 16 grandchildren
and 24 great grandchil-
dren; brother, Wayne
(Jane) Jensen, Bismarck;

nephews.
Claudine was preceded
in death by her parents,

Schimetz and brother,
