Felix Essler, 90,

Bismarck, formerly of

Kenmare, ND, died Mon-

day, May 6, 2019 in a

Bismarck Care Center.

Felix Francis Essler was

born on May 19, 1928, a

son of Michael and Anna

Theresa (Rouslange)

Essler in Padua, MN. He

was raised and educated

in Padua grades first

through eighth and at the

Morris Agriculture School

in Morris, MN.

On September 29, 1948,

Felix was united in mar-

riage to Juletta Welters in

Swanville, MN. Following

their marriage, they made

their home in Kenmare,

where Felix worked for

his uncle Pete, on the Pete

Essler farm. Felix worked

for and served as the

manager of the Kenmare

Creamery, from 1954 until

1966. He later worked for

Harris Construction, retir-

ing at the age of 80, as a

heavy equipment opera-

tor, the blade being the

area of his expertise.

He was an active

member of the St. Agnes

Catholic Church, where

he served as a lector, on

church council, and

served communion to

shut-ins.

Felix is survived by:

He was preceded in

death by: his parents, si-

blings Alois, Henry,

Veronica, Kathryn, Rose,

Marie Don and Yvonne.

Visitation: Friday, May

10, 2019 from 4-6 at the

St. Agnes Catholic

Church, Kenmare, ND

with a vigil/rosary at 6

pm.

Funeral Mass: Satur-

day, May 11, 2019 at 11

am at St. Agnes Catholic

Church, Kenmare, ND

Burial: St. Agnes

Catholic Cemetery, Ken-

mare.
