wide and had room for
many friends. He enjoyed
connecting with his many
friends and he loved pro-

young and old. It could be
a ride in the combine, a
helicopter or driving a
semi-truck. Jim was an
avid fisherman, boater
and NDSU Bison fan and
he enjoyed providing an
opportunity for his
friends and family to have
those experiences as well.
He was a generous sup-
porter of his community,
the Wells County Fair,
Wells County 4-H, North
Dakota 4-H Foundation,
FFA, and NDSU Team
Maker’s.
He was a member of the
associations for North
Central Bean Dealer’s,
Rocky Mountain Bean
Dealer’s, and North Dako-
ta Dry Edible Bean and
Seed and a member of
Fessenden Civic and
Commerce.

Johnson; siblings: Tom
(Kim) Kirkeide of Baker,

nada, MN and Karen

(Brooke) Kirkeide, Ryan
and Carter Larson, Kelly
and Tori Schindler and
Nick Prins. Jim is also sur-
vived by his partner of 24
years, Misty Thorenson
and her children, Ashley
& John.
Jim had a tender and
giving heart and will be
