Dona J. Connole

Dona J. Connole, age 91

a resident of Hills Cross-

ing in Nisswa, Minnesota

passed away on April 2,

2019.

She was born to Flora

(Tyler) and Roger Bryle on

August 27, 1927 in Max-

bass, North Dakota.

Dona was raised in

Maxbass North Dakota

and graduated from Minot

High School in 1945. She

sang for many school

events, choirs, weddings

and contests. She also

played basketball. She

married Jerry Connole

(from Mohall) on Sep-

tember 4, 1953 in Minot.

They made their home in

Mohall. In 1958, they

moved to Minot where

they raised their family.

She worked as a teller at

First National Bank and as

a receptionist at Medical

Arts Clinic. Dona loved

music, sang in the Little

Flower Church choir, sang

for many weddings in the

area, and the Messiah.

She sang in various choirs

in Arizona. She enjoyed

traveling to see her chil-

dren and grandchildren.

Dona, with her husband

traveled extensively

through the United States

and Europe. She was a

wonderful cook and enter-

tained family and friends

and bank employees. She

loved spending time at

their cabin on lake Meti-

goshe in North Dakota.

Dona is survived by her

son, Greg Connole of

Raleigh, NC; daughter,

Terri (Bill) Grimes of Pine

River, MN, Maurya (Jim)

Brown of Trumbull, CT;

grandchildren, Megan and

Jason Connole, Ryan and

Christopher Grimes,

Spencer, Tess and Jena

Brown; 4 great-grand-

children; sister, Doris

Adams, Minot, ND; also

many, many wonderful

caretakers including the

great staff at Hills Cross-

ing in Nisswa. Mass of

Chrisitan Burial for Dona

will take place at 10:00am

on Saturday, May 11th

2019 at St. Christopher

Catholic Church in

Nisswa with Father

Michael Patullo presiding.
