Garold Bradley, 87,
Lansford, ND, passed
away Monday, December
24, 2018, in a Minot hos-
pital.
Garold Dovonne Brad-
ley was born November
19, 1931, the son of
Claude and Myrtle (Aber-
nathey) Bradley, on the
family farm in Van Buren
Township, Renville Coun-
ty, ND. He was raised and
educated in rural Lans-
ford, ND. During his for-
mative years, he attended
Van Buren and Lansford
Grade Schools. He then
graduated from Glenburn
High School.
Garold enlisted in the
United States Navy in
1950. He proudly served
his country on the U.S.S.
Cascade until being
honorably discharged in
1954. Following his mili-
tary service, he attended
NDSU for a couple years.
Garold married Gayle
Haukedahl on September
1, 1962 in Billings, MT.
They made their home
and raised their family in
Lansford, ND.
Garold farmed with his
father Claude for a
number of years. He
raised over 3,000 chickens
with Bill Rousch and ran
Bradley Dairy from 1956-
1993. He was a member of
First Baptist Church of
Glenburn, where he
served as an usher, Dea-
con and on the Board of
Trustees. He was a Van
Buren Township Officer,
a member of the Lansford
Senior Citizens and a
member of the MN Valley
Breeder’s Association,
with whom he provided
A.I. services throughout
ND.
Garold enjoyed playing
cribbage, watching local
ball games, playing cards
and attending Navy Ship
Reunions. He will be dee-
ply missed by all who
knew him.

cludes: Wife of 56 years,
Gayle Bradley, Lansford;
children, Robin (Sue)
Bradley, Burlington, Shel-
don (Georgette) Bradley,
Lansford, LaDon (Jim)
Hartman, Mandan and
Jerlyn (Josh) Myers, Wor-
land, WY; grandchildren,
Brenton, Nicole, Nathan
and Megan Berdahl, Emily
and Joshua, Jr. Myers,
Sommer Lu, Austin Brad-
ley and Amanda Novod-
vorsky;
great-grandchildren, Had-
ley and Charlie Berdahl
and Adelaine and Joshua
Bruce Myers; sisters,
Claudine Roush, Billings,
MT and Nina Stach, Tu-
lalip, WA; and numerous
nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Garold was preceded in
death by his parents; in-
fant son, Darren; and his
brother, Dennis Bradley.
Funeral: Saturday, De-
cember 29, 2018, at 11:00
a.m. at First Baptist
Church, Glenburn, ND.
Interment: Will take
place in spring of 2019 at
Lansford Cemetery, Lans-
ford, ND.
Visitation: One hour
prior to the service at the
church.
