Karen Burns

Karen Ann Burns, 76,

passed away peacefully at

Trinity Hospital on Sun-

day, August 26, 2018 sur-

rounded by her loving

family and friends after a

long battle of various

medical issues.

Karen Ann Hanson was

born in Sheridan County,

North Dakota on October

27th of 1941 to Oscar and

Alvina (Grosz) Hanson.

She grew up on a family

farm in Kief, ND, until

she married William Gul-

branson at the age of 18.

Together they had four

children – Steven, David,

Deleila and Andrew Gul-

branson. They later di-

vorced. Karen married

Alfred Levi Burns in 1965

where they spent the ma-

jority of their life in

Minot, ND.

Karen’s surviving lov-

ing family includes: chil-

dren, David Gulbranson &

Andrew Gulbranson,

Deleila Grahn, Sister-in-

laws, Ione Hanson, Lor-

raine Hanson, Grandchil-

dren, Savannah (James)

Arnott, Ashley (Joey)

love for all of her nieces,

burial at their own ex-

pense. A private party

room will be reserved

under Burns.
