Harry L. Rollman

Harry Lester Rollman,
94, Minot, formerly of
Granville, ND, died Tues-
day, July 10, 2018 in a
Minot Hospital.
Harry was born March
3, 1924 at Sinking
Springs, PA, the son of
Clarence and Lucille
(Peck) Rollman. He
moved with his family to
Granville at an early age,
where he was raised and
educated, graduating in
1942. He enlisted with the
U.S. Navy in 1942 and
honorably served his
country in the European
and Pacific Theatre of
World War II. On De-
cember 28th 1945 aboard
the USS Andromeda
AKA15 Harry crossed the
equator and became a
Trusty Shellback. He was
honorably discharged in
1946.
Harry returned to North
Dakota and began farming
in Granville Township of
McHenry County. In
1946, he was united in
marriage to Mildred
Anderson. Nine children
were born to this union.
He worked as a motorcy-
cle police officer in Velva
and Minot, then as a truck
driver for United Bucking-ham and Midwest Motors
Express for 25 years. He
also worked in the pro
shop in the bowling alley
before retiring. He was
once married to Sherry
Fossum.
On January 8, 1991,
Harry was united in mar-
riage to Jean Kingsley in
Las Vegas, NV. They con-
tinued to live in Minot to
this day.
Harry was a member of
Bethany Lutheran
Church, the local
Teamster’s Union, Minot
Eagles Aerie and VFW
Club. Throughout the
years, he enjoyed golfing,
bowling, coaching
women’s fastpitch softball
for over 23 years, along
with watching the Gospel
Hour on Saturday even-
ings.
His loving family in-
cludes: wife of 27 years,

cousins.
Harry was preceded in
death by: his parents,
wives, Mildred and Sher-
ry, son, Steve; step-
daughter, Judy; brothers,
LeRoy, Raymond, Robert,
Richard, Ralph, Gordon,
and sisters, Marian, Mar-
garet and Lois.
Funeral service: Tues-
day, July 17, 2018 at 11:00
a.m. in Bethany Lutheran
Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill
Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Monday,
July 16th from 5:00 p.m.
until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas
