Carole E. Sather, 78,
Minot, passed away Satur-
day, May 12, 2018, at
Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Carole Elaine Elliott
was born January 23,
1940, the daughter of
Russell C. and Florence V.
(Seagren) Elliott, in Tut-
tle, ND. She was raised
and educated in Tuttle
and graduated from Tuttle
High School in 1957.
Carole was united in
marriage to Marlin E.
Sather July 14, 1957, in
Tuttle, ND. They made
their home in Velva,
where she was the
manager of Star Lanes
Bowling Alley and later
worked for Gravel Pro-
ducts. Marlin passed
away October 21, 2000.
Carole married Donald
L. Brewer in 2003. They
made their home in Rural
Minot. Donald passed
away May 14, 2008.
She was a member of
Oak Valley Lutheran
Church in Velva and the
American Legion Auxili-
ary. Carole enjoyed camp-
ing and fishing trips with
Marlin, her parents, kids,
and friends. The lake was
a favorite activity for most
of her life. Carole and
Marlin enjoyed getting to-
gether with friends for an
evening of card games or
just visiting. Bowling
night with her friends was
a weekly activity for many
years. In later years she
enjoyed bingo or a trip to
the casino. Carole loved
family most of all and al-
ways enjoyed holidays or
any time her children,
grandchildren, or great
grandchildren came by
her house.
Her loving family in-
cludes: children, Dr. Jeff
(Mary) Sather, Norwich,
Lonnie (Rhonda) Sather,
Velva, and Tammie Mack
(Terry Faul), Minot;
grandchildren, Carmen
(Chris) Latella, Medford
New Jersey, Kristi (Mike)
Walen, Rural Minot Carly
(Kyle) Coffman, Seattle
Washington, Taryn Sath-
er, Fargo, Tyler Sather
Boseman Montana, and
Holly Augustine, Denver
Colorado; Amber Stor-
troen, Velva, Taylor (Josh)
Feller, Surrey, and
Jonathon Sather (Hope
Hultstrand), Bismarck;
and Tiffany Mack (Bran-
don Lee), Burlington, Bra-
dy Mack (Cristina Ridl),
Surrey, Tory Mack (Becca
Damato) Surrey, and
Tawny Mack, Minot; 20
great-grandchildren; aunt,
Naomi Pulling, Aberdeen,
SD; and several cousins.
Carole was preceded in
death by: her parents;
husband, Marlin Sather;
husband, Donald Brewer;
and great-granddaughter,
Aryanna Sather-Bennett;
and step-grandson, An-
drew Augustine.
Funeral: Friday, May
18, 2018,at 11:00 a.m. at
Oak Valley Lutheran-
Church, Velva.
Interment: Sunset
Memorial Gardens, Minot,
ND.
Visitation: Thursday
from 4 to 7 p.m. at
Thompson-Larson Fun-
eral Home, Velva.

nated to the Palliative
Care Program.
