NDSU Extension is offering a free QPR Suicide Prevention Certification training on Monday, Dec. 15, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the North Central Research Extension Center, south of Minot.

Participants will become equipped to recognize the warning signs of suicide and take action. Participants will learn how to Question someone about suicide, Persuade them to seek help, and Refer them to appropriate resources.

This workshop is for everyone. No prior experience is needed. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the workshop, which is valid for two years. For more information, contact NDSU Extension-Ward County.
