The identity of the victim in an alleged homicide that took place on Friday, Nov. 7, was released Monday by the Minot Police Department.

The victim was identified as Anthony William Redmond, 27, Minot, who police say died as a result of injuries sustained from a stabbing. The incident occurred sometime in the early morning on Friday in the 500 block of Second Street Northeast in Minot. No arrests have been made at this time, and Minot Police reports the investigation is ongoing.

Minot Police previously called on the public’s assistance in the investigation, asking all residents in the area of Third Street Northeast to Broadway between Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Avenues Northeast between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., to review any home security camera footage for possible activity in the area.
