Minot childcare among development fund recipients
BISMARCK – Reser LLC, operating as The Learning Tree in Minot, has received a $100,000 loan from the North Dakota Development Fund to expand and remodel its existing childcare facility, according to the North Dakota Department of Commerce.
The department announced six companies were approved for a total of $2.16 million in loan funds through the N.D. Development Fund, Inc. during the second quarter of 2025.
“These investments reflect our commitment to economic growth and meeting community needs across North Dakota,” said Shayden Akason, Commerce’s Economic Development & Finance deputy director and head of Investments and Innovation. “We’re proud to support businesses that are expanding access to child care – an essential service that enables parents to remain in the workforce and strengthens the state’s economic resilience.”
Other childcare operations receiving loan assistance included one in Mandan and two in Fargo. Also receiving loans were OmniByte Technology in Fargo for working capital and Dakota Valley Growers in Bathgate to construct a compost facility for its feedlot.
