Rallies were held nationwide Thursday, on the anniversary of the death of Congressman John Lewis, a civil rights activist and politician who represented Georgia’s 5th congressional district from 1987 until his death in 2020. His famous quote was “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.” The documentary “John Lewis: Good Trouble” came out in 2020. The Minot rally included a drive for food and hygiene supplies.
