Volunteers Needed

Trinity Homes can now again have volunteers come in to the facility!! We are currently looking not only for entertainers, but volunteers that would like to come in and help with some of our activities.

The volunteer program is completely starting over due the length of time it has taken to get volunteers back in to the building. New applications will need to be completed and a background check done prior to a volunteer starting. The initial orientation and paperwork will be completed with Shelly Swearson, Director of Social Services.

Also, part of the new process is addressing the volunteers’ COVID vaccination status. If a volunteer has been vaccinated, the vaccination card will be kept in their file. If the volunteer does not wish to be vaccinated, an exemption needs to be completed though Trinity Health’s Human Resource Department and kept in the volunteers file.

Even despite not having volunteers, the activity staff are doing their best to keep the residents busy. Everything from their favorite activity BINGO to church services, exercises, news updates, cards and games, movies, crafts, and one on one visits just to name a few.

The biggest turn out next to BINGO continues to be activities with food such as banana splits, ice cream cones, meats and cheeses, and even green beer and shamrock shakes coming up on St. Patrick’s Day.

If you would like to do some entertainment for our residents or assist the activity staff at Trinity Homes with some fun events at Trinity Homes, please call Shelly Swearson at 857-5911 for more information and to complete an application.
