Two mailboxes taking letters to Santa
Minot children can put a bug in Santa’s ear about their Christmas wish lists by dropping off a letter at Santa’s Mailbox at the Scandinavian Heritage Park or next to the decorated holiday tree in downtown Minot.
Santa’s mailbox opened last week on Nov. 23 and will remain open through 8 p.m. on Dec. 12, when Minot Park District staff, AKA Santa’s helpers, will collect the mail.
The park district reminds parents to make sure that there is a legible name and address on each letter to Santa so Santa’s elves can respond to each letter.
Children will receive replies to their letters to Santa as long as the helpers know just where to send them.
Santa’s magical mailbox has been a popular Christmas tradition, according to the park district. For more information, call the park district office at 857-4136.
