Jeffrey John Gibson III, 29, Minot, is charged in district court in Ward County with Class C felony domestic violence causing serious bodily injury, Class C felony felonious restraint, and Class B misdemeanor domestic violence causing bodily injury.

He was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges on Wednesday before Judge Richard Hagar.

According to court documents, Gibson allegedly kicked a woman multiple times, put her in a headlock, and prevented her from leaving a bathroom in a Minot residence on May 17. On May 24, he allegedly punched her in the face after an argument.
