Members of the Minot Police Department presented $1,616 to Trinity Health Foundation following a two-month drive supporting patients at Trinity’s CancerCare Center.

Officers kicked in donations to wear a pink patch during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In November, similar donations were submitted to forego shaving during No-Shave November.

“We had good involvement,” said Capt. Jason Sundbakken. “I don’t think there’s any one of us who hasn’t been touched by cancer.”

The funds will provide direct assistance to cancer patients in the form of fuel vouchers, compression garments, and other expenses.

Starting at $2.99/week.
