According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court in the state court case, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force searched the couple’s residence at 1628 20th Ave. NW, No. 101, on July 9. The search turned up a green backpack next to the bed in the master bedroom that contained 144 grams of suspected fentanyl pills and 4 pounds, 10 ounces of suspected methamphetamine packaged in vacuum sealer bags and a plastic baggie. In the kitchen there were marijuana buds in a plastic baggie. There was also a vacuum sealer with vacuum sealer bags containing marijuana residue. Located in a drawer in the master bedroom’s dresser was a loaded revolver.
