St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation accepting grant applications

St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for the 2021-22 grant cycle. The deadline is Aug. 16.

“The amount distributed has increased significantly with the Twice Blessed Grant Program participation. Last year $1,059,285.57 was distributed to applicant organizations,” said Shelly Weppler, Foundation president.

Applicants can apply online using the Foundation’s grant application portal located on the Foundation’s website at sjchfnd.com on the grants page and must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or a government agency. Groups without nonprofit or government status may apply with a fiscal sponsor. The Twice Blessed grant program participants are selected from online applications.

The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity community foundation formed in June 1998. It has awarded over $9.6 million in grants to organizations for many worthwhile projects to assist with programs that address quality of life issues in their communities.

Grant funds are available to organizations for projects and initiatives that address the mental, physical, emotional and/or spiritual needs of residents in the counties of Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville, Rolette, Sheridan, Ward and Wells.
