Antonio Jay Marshall, 22, Winner, S.D., was sentenced on May 4 to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the six days he has already served, and two years of supervised probation for stealing a motor vehicle that its owner had left running, with the doors unlocked, outside the Sleep Inn in Minot at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2020.

If Marshall successfully completes probation, the C felony theft charge will be reduced to a Class A misdemeanor.

Judge Doug Mattson also ordered Marshall to pay $2,642.35 in restitution and $525 in court costs.
