Vaccines available at First District Health for people in Priority 1C group

First District Health Unit announced Friday that it now has COVID-19 vaccine available for anyone in Priority Group 1C.

This includes people in the National Guard, workers such as grocery store workers and others enabling access to human food, public safety answering points such as those working with the 911 system, people who work in manufacturing related to the development or supply of the COVID-19 vaccine, other health care or public health workers who hadn’t previously been eligible, people working in free-standing clinical laundries, public transit workers such as bus, taxi, and ride-share drivers, people ages 18 to 64 with one or more high risk health conditions such as cancer, chronic lung disease, serious heart condition, obesity, diabetes, HIV infection or other condition that causes a weakened immune system, sickle cell anemia, pregnancy, smoking or history of smoking, or Down syndrome; blood bank workers, information technology workers, and other essential workers.

Vaccinations are done by appointment only. Persons in the current priority group can make an appointment at the Minot office through the First District Health Unit Online Appointment link: https://ph-firstdistrict.as.me/minotcovidimms20210222. The link can also be found on the First District Health Unit website at www.fdhu.org. This link is for COVID vaccination appointments only. If you would like an appointment for any other service or at any other office, or if you have difficulty booking your appointment online, please call your local First District Health Unit office. In Minot, call 852-1376.

First District also continues to vaccinate anyone in Phase 1A and Phase 1B, including school personnel and childcare workers, and anyone 65 and older.
