Brandon Williams, Minot, sentenced to two years for terrorizing

Brando Christopher Williams, 29, Minot, was sentenced on Friday to four years in prison, with a requirement that he serve two years, for pointing a gun at a woman on Oct. 4, 2020 and terrorizing her.

Judge Todd Cresap also sentenced Williams to two years of supervised probation, gave him credit for 96 days already served in the Ward County Jail and 13 days off his sentence for good behavior, ordered him to surrender the firearm to law enforcement and to pay $1,100 in court costs.

The state agreed to dismiss one Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction, against Williams under the terms of a plea deal.
