Pioneer Village seeking donations

The Ward County Historical Society’s Pioneer Village Museum at Burlington is still seeking donations.

Funds raised will be used to get the bathrooms in its Eureka Township schoolhouse working and handicapped accessible. These will be the first public restrooms that the Pioneer Village Museum has had, according to information provided by the historical society.

The Pioneer Village is participating in the St. Joseph Health Foundation’s Twice Blessed Fund Raising Campaign. Donations through Twice Blessed will be matched up to a total of $5,000. More information about the Twice Blessed Campaign, as well as other organizations that are seeking donations there, can be found at sjchfnd.com/twice-blessed/

Another option is a fund set up through the Minot Area Community Foundation. Donations through this fund may qualify for a 40 percent state tax credit , according to the historical society. More information is available by contacting the foundation at 852-0646.
