John Wendall Dickie IV, 19, Minot Air Force Base, has been charged in district court in Minot with Class AA gross sexual imposition committed by force, Class C felony felonious restraint of an adult victim, Class B felony burglary, Class C felony domestic violence causing serious bodily injury, Class C felony interference with a telephone during an emergency call, and Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Dickie faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole if he is convicted of the forcible rape of an adult woman, the Class AA felony charge.

Dickie was known to the alleged victim, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court.

He made an initial appearance in district court in Minot on Friday before Judge Doug Mattson, who set bond at $200,000 cash or corporate surety, ordered him to be confined to Minot Air Force Base and to wear an ankle monitor if he makes bond, and to have no contact with the alleged victim. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 31.
