The Ward County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help to locate Christopher John, 50, who apparently crashed his vehicle near the intersection of 16th Street SW and 54th Avenue SW on Saturday morning.

Authorities found the vehicle Saturday but it was unoccupied. A ground search by authorities and area residents and an aerial search both failed to locate John. John is temporarily located in the area for work and his employer has not heard from him since before the crash.

Anyone with information about John’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 857-6500.
