MOHALL – The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire the county’s first school resource officer with the assistance of a federal grant.

The department will receive $205,446 from the U.S. Department of Justice through the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Hiring Program, according to the department and Sens. John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer.
