City of Minot and Ward County offices will be closed Friday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

The closure includes Minot City Hall, Public Works and the Engineering Department.

Minot Public Library will be closed Friday through Sunday.

The City of Minot landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday but will be closed on July 4. There will be no residential garbage collection Friday. The next collection day for residents with Tuesday/Friday pickup will be Tuesday, July 7.

There will be no public transit on Friday.
