Minot Parks summer youth programming registration open

Submitted Photo Youth tennis is among activities available this summer through Minot Park District. Registration has opened online.

Registration for the Minot Park District’s summer youth programming is open online at minotparks.com.

“We want our community to start planning for a great summer with Minot Parks,” said Ron Merritt, executive director of the Minot Park District. “We want our citizens to be able to focus on brighter days ahead. They can spend some time as a family mapping out their calendars and getting excited for the summer.”

Residents must register a household on the website to begin signing up children for activities. Go to minotparks.com and click on “register now.” Once registered, residents can click on the programs and activities link on the top of the home page to register for T-ball, softball, baseball, youth fitness gym, youth tennis and art classes.

T-Ball has been adjusted to kindergarten through first grade. Coach-pitched baseball and softball is available to second through fourth grades.

The park district offers scholarships for all youth programs. Please call 857-4136 for more information.

The 2020 summer brochure is available online at https://bit.ly/2XcCjd2.

The park district is closely following guidelines from the governor and North Dakota Department of Health. All dates and times for programs are subject to change due to COVID-19.
