Kat Perkins’ virtual concert to benefit Great Plains Food Bank

FARGO – Kat Perkins, recording recording artist and motivational speaker originally from Scranton, will host a Facebook Live concert to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank on Friday, April 10, beginning at 7 p.m.

Her virtual concert is being done in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Great Plains Food Bank is North Dakota’s only food bank. Its partner network includes 213 food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and other charitable feeding programs operating in 99 communities across North Dakota and Clay County, Minn.

The concert can be viewed on the Facebook pages for both Perkins (@katperkinsmusic) and the Great Plains Food Bank (@NDFoodBank).

During her concert Friday, people will be able to interact and make song requests through comments and make donations to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank during this difficult time for many children, seniors and families in the region.

Perkins, currently based in Minneapolis-based, was a semi-finalist during season six of “The Voice.”
