Jonathan Eli Rodriguez, 22, is charged in district court in Minot with discharging a firearm on Sunday in northeast Minot and firing a single shot that went through his apartment wall and into the spare bedroom in a neighboring apartment. No one was injured in the incident.

Rodriguez is charged in district court in Minot with Class C felony reckless endangerment and with Class B misdemeanor discharge of a firearm within city limits in Minot Municipal Court.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Rodriguez is a member of the U.S. Air Force Security Forces and is familiar with the Ruger AR .556-caliber rifle.
