Sarah Meyers sentenced to two years for delivery of meth

Sarah Jeanne Meyers, 42, Minot, was sentenced on Friday to five years in prison, with a requirement that she serve two years, and three years of supervised probation for Class B felony delivery of methamphetamine in February 2018. She will receive credit for 78 days served in the Ward County Jail, plus 11 days time off for good behavior.

Judge Todd Cresap also ordered Meyers to pay $1,155 in court costs.

According to court documents, Meyers delivered the meth to a confidential informant working with the Ward County Narcotics Task Force. The informant purchased 1.75 grams of meth for $125 and paid an $80 debt on Feb. 5, 2018. The informant asked to buy half an ounce of meth and Meyers said she could obtain more, but would have to go out and get it. The informant set up another drug buy and purchased an additional 3.5 grams – called an eight ball – from Meyers for $225.
