Aaron Williams, Minot, charged with burglary

Aaron Douglas Williams, 35, Minot, is accused of breaking into a woman’s residence early Sunday morning.

He is charged with Class B felony burglary committed at night in district court in Minot.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Williams had been arguing with the woman through the locked front door and the woman refused to let him into her residence. Douglas then pushed his shoulder against the door and forced his way in. When police arrived, Williams and the woman were sitting on the couch and were still arguing.

Williams was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the burglary charge before Judge Todd Cresap later this week.
