Surrey to hold Dec. 17 election
SURREY – The City of Surrey will hold a special election Tuesday, Dec. 17, to fill a vacancy for mayor and decide a council race in a recall.
The poll at City Hall will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Charles Tollefson has filed to fill the unexpired two-year term for mayor. Karla Walsh has filed to fill her unexpired two-year term as council member in Ward 1 and is being challenged by Jennifer Johns.
