As work winds down for the winter on the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project, 16th Street Southwest will fully re-open today. All lanes of traffic will be open.

Roadway construction, including curb and gutter, utility installation along with temporary earthwork measures, have been completed to allow for full use of the roadway through winter.

Access to Seventh Avenue Southwest will continue to be closed until additional utility work is complete, which should occur in four to six weeks.

Crews will continue work in the area as long as weather allows.
