A small fire in the Beaver Ridge Apartments was extinguished by sprinklers early Tuesday evening, resulting in minor water damage to one part of the building. The Beaver Ridge Apartments are located at 1100 North Broadway.

The fire triggered the building’s fire suppression system, which quickly extinguished the flames. An alarm system alerted occupants to exit the building. Crews from the Minot Fire Department shut off the sprinkler system when they arrived on scene.

One family was displaced until cleanup work is completed. No one was injured in the incident. The fire is not viewed as suspicious.
