Submitted Photo Active-duty military members from Minot Air Force Base served the meal to veterans and other senior citizens at the Minot Commission on Aging’s Veterans Day event on Thursday at the Parker Senior Center, shown in this photo from Stephen Jacobson of Memory Savers Video, Minot. A program prior to the meal was presented by the Honoring Those Who Served-Ministry breakfast group of Minot. Those participating in the program included local Color Guard members from the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts, Richard Reuer, master of ceremonies, and Rev. Mac McLeod giving the prayers. The ministry group also presented its first “Patriotism of the Year” awards to the Minot Daily News and Eloise Ogden, regional editor, for their “continued devotion in sharing and educating our community about our military servicemembers and our Veterans throughout our community and their family members...”
