“Nonprofit organizations play a vital role in building healthy communities. Working together as a nonprofit sector allows us to better understand the needs in our community and puts us in a better position to meet those needs. The Minot Alliance of Nonprofits creates a platform for our nonprofit community to work collaboratively, enhancing the mission of each member organization,” said Heather Cymbaluk, Alliance of Nonprofits president.
The Alliance of Nonprofits is a group of nonprofit leaders who collaborate to strengthen the nonprofit sector and connect the Minot community. Monthly meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month at Homesteaders Restaurant focus on a variety of nonprofit topics, allowing members to learn from one another and enhance the work of their organizations. Occasional “bonus meetings” focus on specific topics with area experts.
To become a member of the Alliance of Nonprofits, application must come from the primary representative of a nonprofit organization. Membership dues are $25 annually and include two staff members. Volunteers, board members and other representatives are welcome to attend the bonus meetings. There are currently 33 members of the Alliance of Nonprofits.
