A fire Thursday evening damaged a garage, two vehicles and the house located next to 1315 Valley View Drive.

Upon arrival at the scene, Minot Fire Department crews found a heavy volume of fire coming from a detached double garage. The heat was melting the siding on the home next door, and fire was also spreading to a breezeway and an attached single garage. Two vehicles were also heavily damaged.

Firefighters were able to knock down the flames to prevent the home from suffering heavy fire damage.

No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
