Deonte Sinclair Sr. sentenced to prison for delivery of oxycodone

Deonte Rashad Sinclair Sr., 32, Roseville, Mich., will serve 18 months in prison for delivery of oxycodone on May 9.

Sinclair pleaded guilty in district court in Minot on Friday to the B felony. The state dismissed two other drug dealing-related B felonies against Sinclair under the terms of a plea deal.

Judge Richard Hagar sentenced Sinclair to a total of three years in prison, with 18 months suspended, and three years of supervised probation. Sinclair must also pay $775 in court costs and obtain a chemical dependency evaluation. He will receive credit for 62 days already served in the Ward County Jail.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the MHA Drug Enforcement Agency had notified the Ward County Narcotics Task Force that Sinclair and two others were coming to Minot to pick up narcxotics. They were stopped in a Ford Expedition at the Dakota Square Mall. Sinclair had 71 oxycodone hydrochloride pills in the car, along with $4,800 in cash and two cell phones.

Meriah Debbi Good Luck, 33, Parshall, is charged with conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class B felony; and Antoine Lawrence Reddog Jr., 30, Parshall, is charged with conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, both Class B felonies, and Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in district court in Minot.
