Dakota Square Mall announces new Sunday hours

Dakota Square Mall announces new Sunday hours following legislative repeal of the state’s Blue Law.

Effective Aug. 1, Dakota Square will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Aug. 4 will be the first Sunday with the new hours in effect. Department stores, restaurants and retailers with exterior entrances can determine their own Sunday hours and those hours may vary from that of the mall.

“We’re pleased to offer visitors the convenience of additional hours on Sunday by opening our doors at 11 a.m.,” said Dakota Square General Manager Chuck Massey.

Sunday hours during holiday seasons will be determined at a later date.

Dakota Square Mall is owned and managed by CBL Properties of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The mall features more than 70 specialty shops and eateries and is anchored by J.C. Penney, Target, Sleep Inn & Suites, AMC Theaters, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Old Navy and SCHEELS.
