The Mouse River Players will be joining together with the Sibyl Center to put on the Children’s Theater Summer Camp. The annual children’s theatre, sponsored by The Sibyl Center of Stanley, will be a joint venture with Minot’s Mouse River Players for the 2019 camp.

The summer theater day camp will be held on July 15, 17 and 18 with the theme of “Create a Show.” Each day will start at 9:30 a.m. and go until 12:30 p.m.

Sessions will include acting and stage directions, creating parts, improvisation, how to prepare for an audition, writing scripts, practicing scripts and stage makeup.

The camp is open to children ages six to 12 with a fee of $10 per child. Enrollment is limited. To reserve a spot, call 628-2670.

The summer camp is partially funded by a grant from the Stanley Area Community Foundation.
