State One-Act Play winners from Minot High School
The Minot High School drama team competed in the State A One-Act Play Drama Contest on the campus of North Dakota State University in Fargo on April 1-2 and four Minot High students won individual awards.
Isabella Andrews, a senior, and Irin Romich, a junior, were recognized as superior actresses in their production of “Faith County.” Mandy Marx, a junior, won first place in scene design and Jett Swanson, a junior, won first place in the musical solo category.
Thirteen Class A schools participated in the two-day contest and Bismarck Century won the play division with a show titled “Darklight”. Minot’s team is directed by Paula Rauschenberger and Chad Gifford.
