The Minot Public School Board on Thursday approved a co-op agreement for girls hockey between Minot High School and Des Lacs-Burlington.

The board was assured that the co-op agreement will not prevent any students in the Minot school district from playing on the team.

The board also approved the hiring of Stephen Young as the new principal at Memorial Middle School at Minot Air Force Base. Young is currently an associate professor of graduate education at the University of Mary in Bismarck.

Harlan Johnson was approved as the new principal at Minot High School-Central Campus for next year. Johnson has been the assistant principal at Magic City Campus for a number of years.
