National Association for Music Education hosts second music camp
The Minot State University student chapter of the National Association for Music Education is hosting its 2nd Annual Mini-Musician Camp on April 13 on the Minot State University Campus starting at 9 a.m.
The theme for this year’s camp is the ocean. Students in grades two to five are invited to engage in a variety of music-making experiences including instruction on percussion instruments, boom whackers and ukuleles.
On April 13, students are asked to report to the lobby of Old Main at 9 a.m. The camp will end with a performance for friends and family at 2 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
The Mini-Musician Camp costs $25 to participate and requires no prior experience.
