Shyanne Belzer/MDN Berthold Police Chief Al Schmidt and his K-9 unit, Hunter, posed with one of the many Trinity Health Pediatric Therapy patients who attended a special event Wednesday. The two paired with Trinity workers to deliver a special surprise to Pediatric Therapy patients for a second year in a row. Schmidt and Hunter brought the many items collected from a recent toy drive for patients to go and pick a special Christmas treat. There were treats and different photo opportunities. Kids got to not only take photos with Schmidt and Hunter, but also with Miss North Dakota USA Samantha Redding and Miss North Dakota Teen USA Caitlyn Vogel.
