Paul Henrikson, Minot, pleads not guilty to fleeing police, reckless endangerment

Paul Martin Henrikson, 50, entered not guilty pleas to a Class C felony charge of fleeing a police officer on April 5 and to Class A misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and driving with a suspended license.

Then Henrikson, who was in a wheelchair, glared at officers sitting across the courtroom, stuck up the middle fingers of both his hands, and mouthed profanities at the officers.

One of the officers, who was waiting to testify at another preliminary hearing, told Henrikson he could keep it up and get another charge.

Henrikson was angry because he had been arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at a previous court hearing and North Central District Court Judge Gary Lee refused to hold a bond hearing for him on Thursday morning.

Henrikson has multiple charges pending against him in district court, including Class C felony terrorizing, Class C felony fleeing a police officer, Class C felony reckless endangerment, Class C felony failure to register as a sex offender, and Class B misdemeanor driving with a suspended license, all dating back to Oct. 17, 2017; Class C felony theft of property and Class C felony preventing arrest and Class A misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon and Class B misdemeanor refusing to halt, dating back to April 25; Class C felony fleeing a police officer and Class A misdemeanor reckless endangerment, dating back to March 10; and Class C felony criminal trespass, filed on Nov. 1.

His address is now given in court records as Deering.
