Joseph Emmanuel Rosado Arguinzoni, 19, Bottineau, is charged with Class A felony gross sexual imposition in district court in Bottineau.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Rosado allegedly sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman in her dorm room following a party on Oct. 13. The woman told police she and Rosado first had consensual sex and then, after that encounter, Rosado held her down on the bed, forcibly touched her intimately and bit her on the breasts. The woman said he ignored her when she told him to stop. The woman told police that Rosado finally left after she threatened to kick him in his private parts.

Rosado allegedly acknowledged what had happened when he was interviewed by police.

Rosado was released on $20,000 surety bond last month, according to court records. He made an initial appearance in court in Bottineau on Oct. 31.
